Dimensioning and Cubing
Static Systems - A device for dimensioning

Static Dimensioning:
Interweigh has provided customers with devices to capture dimensioning
data since 1996 when dim weight and mass weight were both needed to determine
courier billings. Our latest systems have evolved from inputting the dimension
data manually to our current CubiScan products that displays the dimension data
for the Operator to verify during processing.
Description:
Our static dimensioners from CubiScan dimensions, weighs and barcode scans packages statically.
It measures the length, width and height of individual packages as they
are manually placed on the scale's static conveyor. The Operator then
scans the packages ID barcode to capture the dimension data being displayed.

Dynamic Dimensioning:
Interweigh has been a leader in Canada by introducing and obtaining W&M
approval for the first multiple dimensioning device in 1996. That equipment
is still in service. Since then we have worked with couriers and logistics
companies to provide in-motion dimensioning solutions by offering a complete
turn-key project, including dynamic barcode scanning, in-motion weighing
and on-line data capture. Interweigh currently supports an number of dimensioning
systems across the country at couriers, logistics companies, customs brokers
and distributing warehouses.
Description: Dimensioning devices measure the length, width and
height of individual packages as they are passed under the device in singular
order on a conveyor at speeds up to 600 fpm.
The dynamic devices from CubiScan have a proven track record and are in use in all the major courier companies in the USA and Canada. It is easy to install, calibrate and service, making it a low maintenance device, unlike some of the other device on the market.
